The
2009 Challenged Whitetail Deer Hunt took place December 18 - 20, 2009 at Brushy
Creek on Lake o' the Pines near Jefferson, Texas. 7 Whitetail deer - 4 does and
3 bucks where harvested on this hunt! Below are photos from the event and it is
evident from the smiles that it was a complete success. The event included 16
Hunters, 6 guardians, 4 Corps of Engineer Rangers and 29 volunteers for a total
of 55 people involved in this event! We saw old friends and made new ones! Thank
you United States Corps of Engineers, all the volunteers and sponsors that made
this hunt a great success. Your efforts go above and beyond. Thank you from COA-NETO!
Everyone
went home with a sense of success and a full stomach. Check out the smiles and
